3D Microfluidics

In various fields of application like biotechnology, medicine, diagnostics and nano-optics, operators are aiming at the integration of sub-micron scaled three-dimensional elements into microfluidic channels. By using Nanoscribe's 3D laser lithography system Photonic Professional off-the-shelf purchased chips can be combined with the remarkable 3D structuring capabilities of Direct Laser Writing. It thus is now possible to, e.g., create filtration systems, stirrers or optical elements for lab-on-a-chip systems. Please click below on the thumbnails to open a detailled view.
