Business magazine “Capital” chooses Nanoscribe CEO as one of the “Top 40 under 40”
Within the “Young Elite” series, the business magazine “Capital” selected Martin Hermatschweiler (37) as one of Germany’s 40 most-talented entrepreneurs younger than 40 years old.
All nominees caught attention with their groundbreaking business ideas, outstanding achievements, striking success, and promising potential under the banner of “Disruption and Innovation.” Hermatschweiler, physicist and co-founder of Nanoscribe, has managed the high-tech company since its founding. Within just a few years, Nanoscribe has established itself as worldwide market and technology leader for 3D printing on the micrometer scale. "Through us, a unique technology called two-photon polymerization could get out of its research niche. The self-developed systems as well as tailor-made materials and processes enable us to offer an extremely user-friendly and extremely precise tool for additive manufacturing to research institutes and industrial markets. The microfabrication of 3D objects on this scale has never been possible before. That means that new markets could be opened and break ground for cutting-edge research results.”
All in all, there are already more than 100 systems in use at renowned research institutes in over 25 countries. Half of the world’s top 10 universities are already Nanoscribe customers.
