Martin Hermatschweiler (37), CEO of Nanoscribe, said: “Winning the WTN Award and thus prevailing against 3D Systems and Stratasys as candidates emphasizes the strength and importance of the relatively young technology of two-photon polymerization. Based on this disruptive technology, our Photonic Professional GT printers allow the fabrication of structures hundredfold more precise than other technologies.” This capability in 3D microfabrication opens up a multitude of new applications in industry as well as fascinating new science. After Prism Award 2014, the WTN Award 2015 is a further recognition of Nanoscribe’s groundbreaking technological developments.

Each year, the WTN recognizes the best and brightest in their fields and the organizations on the cutting edge of technological innovation. The topnotch international community of WTN brings together many of the world’s leading technologists, scientists, futurists, policymakers and entrepreneurs and also comprises several Nobel laureates.
