News and Reviews (February 2015)

Welcome at Photonics West

Visit our new double-size booth and find your matching application

We cordially invite you to visit our new double-size booth n° 4232 (North Hall) at SPIE Photonics West in San Francisco  from 10 – 12 February, 2015. This year, back to this leading international conference in laser, photonics, and biomedical optics, we would like to present to you new solutions for the optimized fabrication of micro-sized parts. Learn more about these tailor-made packages increasing the outstanding performance of our 3D µ-printer Photonic Professional GT. In 2014, the system was winner of the Prism Award in the category “Advanced Manufacturing”.
Furthermore we recommend to visit the numerous talks of Nanoscribe customers. Their papers were published by means of our 3D laser lithography systems, which combine the design freedom of 3D printing with the highest resolution available on the market. Have a look at the multitude of their groundbreaking new applications, ranging from photonic wire bonding, micro-robotics, cell migration studies, fabrication of new materials up to hierarchical 3D nano-architectures for photonics and biomimetics. You can obtain a list of interesting talks at our booth.

pw2015_03.jpgSAMPLE DEMONSTRATION - Don´t miss the new demonstration glass box: Here you will see what´s barely visible to the naked eye.  Choose one of the four samples and have a closer look via the picture presentation at the tablet behind.

pw2015_pilot3D.jpgWe would like to introduce the first open lab for optical integration worldwide - PILOT-3D. In cooperation with the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) PILOT-3D aims at advancing industrial applications of additive nanofabrication in optics and photonics with a special focus on wafer-level micro-optics and photonic multi-chip integration.
The combination of highest precision and unprecedented design freedom is about to set new standards in direct digital manufacturing of photonic micro- and nanosystems.
