Karlsruhe School of Optics & Photonics Makes a Stop at Nanoscribe
Nanoscribe GmbH and the Karlsruhe School of Optics and Photonics (KSOP) have been cooperating for several years in research and teaching. The Ph.D. students for their training module "Micro- and nanotechnology laboratory", for example, stop by at Nanoscribe once a year. Here they have the opportunity to work with the 3D microprinter Photonic Professional GT. At the beginning of the week, it was time again. A group of students produced their filigree structures at Nanoscribe.
First, our experienced field engineers introduced the students to the general topic of microfabrication, the Photonic Professional GT 3D printer system, and the underlying technology of two-photon polymerization. This was followed by the practical training phase. In less than a day, the students prepared their print data and the necessary equipment before finally producing their individual microstructures with the 3D printer. The printed structures were then to be examined under the microscope. It is always impressive to see what good results the KSOP students achieve within a very short time!Share this site on facebook
