Nanoscribe System is the Core of new Research Center at ILM Ulm
The industry-focused Institut für Lasertechnik in der Medizin und Messtechnik (ILM) Ulm received funding from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing (Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Arbeit und Wohnungsbau Baden-Württemberg) for the procurement of a Photonic Professional GT. The system will be the core of a new microsystems research center. The center’s research will focus on (bio-)medical and optical applications, e.g. micro lenses, micro sensors or optical components for measurement technology.
The ILM is part of the Innovation Alliance Baden-Wuerttemberg and offers research collaborations especially for small and middle-sized companies. Particularly for these companies, the ILM is an important partner to cope with the ever-increasing requirements of the industry.
Good luck with the research on these exciting topics!
