SPIE Photonics West: Nanoscribe’s CSO Michael Thiel on Additive Manufacturing of Micro-Optics
At the upcoming world’s largest photonics event SPIE Photonics West Dr. Michael Thiel, Nanoscribe’s co-founder and CSO, will discuss optimized processes for the fabrication of micro-optics with a talk on “Additive Manufacturing for the Production of Micro-Optics” on January 30th at 2.20pm, talk 10544-35.
In recent years, industry players active in the business of optical devices have been adopting Nanoscribe’s 3D printers Photonic Professional GT for additive manufacturing of micro-optical elements. Taking advantage of the full 3D fabrication capabilities and the submicron resolution and precision, this technology is being used to tackle the requirements needed for precise and functional micro-optical elements. In this presentation, multi-level diffractive optical elements (DOEs) and refractive micro-lenses will showcase specific use cases.
